On Saturday, June 14th, the courts across from the Wildwood Crest library came alive as Dogtooth Bar & Grill served up its first-ever Pickleball Tournament. With teams ready to rally and spectators soaking up the summer vibes, it was a perfect day of friendly competition, music, and beachside energy.
All About the Experience
The tournament welcomed doubles teams of all skill levels, from 2.5 to 4.5, for a high-energy showdown that kicked off right at 9:00 AM after check-in opened bright and early at 8:00. Every registered participant received a custom Dogtooth tournament T-shirt, a beer token good at Dogtooth or MudHen, complimentary snacks and water, and a $5 discount to use at Dogtooth post-match.
A live DJ kept spirits high throughout the event, adding a party vibe to the courts while players gave it their all under the sun.
Champions & Cheers
We kicked things off on Friday, March 14th, with DJ Denny Oh spinning from 8–11 PM. His high-energy set got the crowd moving and set the tone for a weekend full of fun.
Spectators weren’t left out either. Everyone in attendance had the chance to enter a raffle to win a $25 gift card to their choice of Dogtooth, MudHen, or Poppi’s — making it a fun day for everyone, on or off the court.
